Coming soon: Africa & Beyond Vision Center/Training Center
“And now, God, do it again—
bring rains to our drought-stricken lives
So those who planted their crops in despair
will shout ‘Yes!’ at the harvest,
So those who went off with heavy hearts
will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.”
Psalm 126:4-6 (MSG)
Much of life is spent planting. We pray, give, serve, sow, and trust God for things we cannot yet see. Often, we do so in seasons that feel more like drought than abundance.
Yet, the promise of Psalm 126 is that drought is not the end of the story. God specializes in bringing rain to dry places. The seeds planted in faith eventually break through the soil, and what was once hidden becomes visible to all.
Our role is not to control the weather. It is to keep planting. As we continue to sow in faith, trusting God with the results, the season will change. The rain will come. The harvest will arrive. And one day, those who planted with tears will return with armloads of blessings and shouts of “Yes!”
Anna’s House Update
In March this year, we dedicated Anna’s House in Gatumba, Burundi. It is a drop-in center for the elderly and disabled of the village surrounding our Hope Center feeding site. Since its dedication, we have been able to provide our people with bathing facilities, laundry assistance, additional food support, and a place of prayer and rest during the day. The home, the only one of its kind in the country that we know of, specifically serves the elderly and disabled who have struggled in Gatumba due to flooding, food insecurity, and abandonment.
As it is now, the building is fully functional and a blessing. Thank you again to all who made Anna’s House a reality! We now look to adding a hangar, much like the one at the Hope Center (pictured) for additional space and comfort, concrete pavers beneath the hangar and driveway, and an expanded laundry area to better serve the people.

Daily operational needs at the home include medical care for our attendees, clothing, food assistance, water, soap, and other basic hygiene items.
As with every ministry opportunity, there are ongoing needs and opportunities to grow the work. We would appreciate your prayers as we continue caring for those who rely on Anna’s House and seek wisdom for the next steps. God has been faithful every step of the way, and we remain confident that He will continue to provide what is needed for the people we serve. If you would like to know more about Anna’s House or any of our ministry projects, please feel free to contact us at JLPeters@africa-and-beyond.com.
The Vision Center/Training Center
A few weeks ago, we sent out a special email newsletter updating you on the expansion of the vision for church planting, community outreach, and going beyond through the building of our Vision Center/Training Center in Shikwaru, South Africa. The landowners have graciously offered to hold the property for us for several months while we make arrangements to purchase and build. God has already blessed us with the funding needed to prepare the plans for submission to the building department.
We do not know exactly how God will bring all this together, but one thing we do know: God is faithful. Just as He was faithful in the building of Anna’s House and countless other projects through the years, He will be faithful again.
Until then, we will continue planting, praying, and trusting. We know there will be a day when we look back on this season and, with grateful hearts, come home rejoicing and shouting, “Yes!”
Thank you for your love, partnership, and prayers.
Jamie, Lea, and Andreya
