John 10:16 ESV “And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one Shepherd.”
Some are still missing, and their places have yet to be filled in our spiritual families. Jesus said that He “must” bring them. We often busy ourselves with in-house work when there is much to be done outside of the house. It’s easy to be preoccupied with all the business we face in church life. But church life is comprised of not only what happens inside the church but also by what we do outside the church walls.
Jesus said, “I must bring them also.” He wanted everyone, everywhere to hear that there’s room in the family for them. Yes, growth is messy, and it takes time and effort to clean up after children. But messiness is evidence of life. The more children that are at home, the more mess that is created. But God is able, in the middle of the mess, to straighten things up. Don’t let the fear of the mess keep you from making room for more.
More churches coming in 2025
The year was full from start to finish, and we want to take a moment and remember God’s goodness:
2025 is going to be a busy year. We have approximately seven church plants coming in Malawi and South Africa this year. Perhaps there will be more. There is a great harvest all over the world that is ready to be reaped. What we lack are laborers.
Jesus warned us of this very issue in Luke 10:2. So, our prayer is for God to add workers to our team to help in leading all the churches that are ready to be born.
Please pray for laborers in the harvest field!
2025 theme
Our theme, for lack of better words, for 2025 is to get as close, walk as close, and live as close as possible to God as we can. In the coming weeks, we will spend, like many of you, 21 days in prayer and fasting. Why? To get as close as possible to God so we can hear His voice as clearly as possible. Fasting doesn’t change God because He doesn’t need to change; it changes us because we need to change.
Making room
This year, we are making room for more—more churches, more outreaches to the community, and more in our relationships with God, one another, and beyond.
