1 Samuel 10:7 NLT
“After these signs take place, do what must be done, for God is with you.”
A lot of what we have had to do over the years has been done because it had to be done. While we have our training and degrees, none of our studies fully prepared us for what we were going to face living cross-culturally in Africa. Life is this way for all of us, isn’t it? We feel unprepared when the challenges come. But God, in His mercy and grace, gives us the strength to do what we need to do when “the moment” comes.
I encourage you today to take heart, you may not understand what is happening, but God will give you strength to face it and address it.
Uganda Registration Update
This past week, we received the news that our church has been officially registered in the country. Those of you who work overseas can appreciate what a victory this is for the work. The name of our church in Uganda is, “Hope For All Nations Church Kasubi.” Kasubi is the name of the area where our first church will be planted. Our pastor (pictured at right) is Pastor Colette Munga who is a widow. She was part of our first church plant in Burundi in the early 1990s. As a businesswoman, she has longstanding contacts in Uganda. After prayer and discussion, she launched out in 2023 and began the long process of seeking registration for us to plant a church and initiate whatever outreaches the Lord has for Uganda. Rejoice with us!

On Saturday, August 3rd, Lea will be traveling to Malawi to work in partnership with Hand of Hope to host another free community clinic as we did last year. Thank you for keeping her and the team in prayer. Thank you for your partnership and prayers,
